I've installed 2004 and the express tools. When I first installed and loaded the express tools, the menu bars were there, but the proper icons were not on the commands. I edited the properties of all of the buttons, and used browse to set them to the proper icon. I did some drawing and used the express tools. I have since closed out autocad and when I opened autocad up the next time, the express tools said they were loaded in the text box at the bottom of the screen, but the menu's weren't available. I went through the menuload process, and again the tool bars showed up without the correct icons. The commands also don't work now, whether I click on the button, or enter the command on the command line.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like your express tools install went bad on you - this is not an uncommon problem with the express tools. Try performing an uninstall, restart the machine, and then reinstall the express tools, and restart the machine again and hopefully, you'll see the proper icons, and your commands will function.

If you're sure the uninstall and re-install went well and you are still not seeing the proper icons - go back to your menuload command and unload the express tools. Close AutoCAD, and locate the file acetmain.mnr - this is the resource file AutoCAD creates to keep track of icons within a menu. Delete this file. Restart AutoCAD and go back to then menuload command. Select the browse option and change the file type to .MNU. Select the acetmain.mnu file and load it. This will force AutoCAD to re-build the deleted mnr file and your icons should re-appear.
