I am getting ready to promote my Windows 2003 member server to a domain controller in my Windows 2000 domain. I have ran forestprep and domainprep - I have tested replication between my current dc's, checked my disk space, checked the eventlog, etc. excluding running the gpotool (Following steps in Microsoft article 325379)
I have 2 issues - My second domain controller has an error in the event log - EventId 8021 Browser - could not retreive list of servers from domain controller - I was not too concerned about this, however I found I am running DLT. Can I promote a 2003 DC without disabling and deleting all DLT objects?
