2003 TS with 2000 License Svr

here is the sernario.

1 windows 2000 TS Server
1 windows 2000 TS License Server

I need to upgrade the 2000 TS Server to 2003. When i bring the new server into my domain and configre TS it tells me that it needs to connect to a TS License server. The thing is that i already have one. Does the TS Server need to be 2003?

Any help would be great.

Yes you will need to remove the 2000 TS license server and install the license server on the 2003 server. Its been a really long time since i did this but i had to call the MS clearing house to help register it as a 2003 and 2000 license server. This process may have changed, like I said it was long long time ago I had to do this. After all was said and done, you get unlimited 2000 TS licenses and what ever number of 2003 licenses you bought.
