2003 TS Redirection for USB Devices

Hello All,

I am trying to see if there is any tweak or program that will redirect most usb devices with terminal services.

I am specifically trying an Iphone and a Smartboard.

I've used 3 or 4 of the small free programs that claim they can redirect usb to rdp but none have worked so far.

Anyone have any experience in this?

I know by default it is not supported by microsoft but there has got to be a way somehow.

Are you using RDP 6.1? If so, have you tried setting the option on the Local Resources tab to allow connection to the USB device? On the Local Resources tab click on the "More" button and either select the drive letter associated with the USB device (expand "Drives" to find it) if the USB device is plugged in or select "Drives that I connect to later". I have no problem connecting to a local WD MyBook external drive and a 4 GB flash drive when I am using Terminal Services.

I tested on a vista laptop. USB drives and etc. work without any problems, just misc. usb devices.

I will read the link that echyMcSe2k posted and look more into that.
