Hi,

I am having a problem getting 2003 server to map a drive to my snap server. The snap server is a NAS box used for home folders and it runs a watered down version of RedHat 6.2. I have no problems with any of my 2000 servers connecting or with any of my client machines.

Anyone else have a problem with 2003 talking to linux?

regards,

JD

It is probably the same issue as with DOS and a Security Group Policy setting on the 2003 Server.

Lower the Group Security Policy and try again.

Chris

Thanks for your help guys,

To fix the problem in local security settings disable:

1)digitally encrypt or sign secure channel data
2)digitally encrypt secure channel data
3)digitally sign secure channel data

My server was a member server on a 2000 domain. For 2003 domains just run dsa.msc and change the security settings under the group policy for domain controllers.

Regards

JD
