I have 2 Server 2003 RRAS boxes in 2 different cities. I have demand dial running both ways just fine. Users on either end can ping all they want, access resources across the sites, etc. This thing will work just perfectly for weeks at a time, and then suddenly I cannot make them connect. The only way to get them back is delete the Demand Dial interfaces, and the local user name used for connecting, and recreate them. Then it connects in 4 seconds.
There is nothing n the event logs, and I can't figure out how to read the logs in %windir%\tracing. If anybody can shed some light on why this is happening, or point me to a place I can find out how to read the tracing logs, I'd appreciate it.
