Hi All,

Our Domain is all windows server 2003, I need to add a new terminal server.

Can this server be windows 2003 r2, and set up to run in application mode (added as a member server) without needing to upgrade the AD or having any adverse issues?

Many Thanks

Yes. Only if you want it to be a domain controller, or want to use R2 specific features, do you need to update your schema.
