Does anyone know why all the critical patches are not suggested via SMS2003 but they are using the windows update site, specifically the following

330994: April 2003, Security Update for Outlook Express 6 SP1
Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB819696)
816093: Security Update Microsoft Virtual Machine (Microsoft VM)
Update for Windows Media Player Script Commands (KB828026)
Security Update for Microsoft Data Access Components (823718)
814078: Security Update (Microsoft Jscript version 5.6, Windows 2000, Windows XP)

Many thanks in advance

I don't think Microsoft has fully addressed this issue. They have this listed under one of the faqs, but their resolution(s) haven't satisfied me. The word 'delay' keeps coming up in their resolution seen here,

Something in there might help you, but it hasn't helped me at all. I viewed my mssecure.xml and those patches are contained in there, but aren't suggested by SMS2003. It seems as if SMS isn't referencing the correct xml, but I don't know how to change its reference.

Perhaps all of my machines and all of your machines don't need the exact same patches.

Thanks for the info, good to know i'm not the only one!

Hmm, I was wondering this and have already posted a thread regarding this. C'mon MS!!!!! You'd think they would have integrated Windows Update directly into SMS 2003. WTH?! Or if you're vulgar like me: WTF?!
