Hello,

A customer has purchased another company, now we have to merge it with the corporate.
The first step would be to configure a trust between both domains.
A DC is already installed locally in the purchased domain and configured in the corporate domain.
How can configure the trust ?
DNS ?
Forwarder ?
The corporate domain is configured with a root and a child:
"Corporate.intra" and "industrie.corporate.intra"
Where should I configure the trust on root or on the child.
Thanks

A: LMHOSTS entries for the DC in the opposite domain on BOTH DCs. Then set up either secondary zones of each domain within DNS on the DCs, or configure forwarding (conditional if on Win2003).

Where should I configure the trust on root or on the child.
A: It depends on where the resources you need to access from the aquired domain...if they are in the child domain, build trust with child, if in the forest root, build with forest root.
