I have SQL 2005 Express installed on my VISTA machine. I created a Data Access Page in Access 2003 by first creating an Access Project and then creating the Page within the Project. I can OPEN the Page from within the PROJECT and it will connect to the SQL SERVER and function correctly. If I try to OPEN the PAGE by double clicking the file itself, the connection to the 2005 SQL Express Server FAILS.

I tried to CREATE the PAGE without creating an Access Project first. The connection TESTS OK but when I try to design the PAGE, the connection shows a RED X and no FIELDS are listed.

Is my problem with Windows VISTA; SQL SERVER 2005 EXPRESS or Microsoft Access 2003?
