Hi All,
This is driving me nuts but im sure the answer is simple but I cannot for the life of me figure it out
Working on an AD Migration upgrading the AD DS from 2003 to 2008R2
I have a terminal server which has TS roaming profiles set to be saved on another network server \\server1\profiles
I will be migrating the profiles to another server so \\server2\profiles
the w2k3 controllers will be dc promod out of the environment leaving only 2k8
2k8 obviously doesnt have have the TS Roaming profile instead it has the RDS roaming profile attribute
I can robocopy the profiles to the new location and then rename them to %username%.IMAGE
If i then create a group policy setting the RDS Roaming profile setting to \\server2\profiles will this pickup the renamed folder and make it seamless ?
Or am I missing something
Thanks,
Al
