2002 Extensions causing grief. Need to disable.

I'm using FP 2002 but the server I'm publishing to currently does not support the 2002 extensions, only the 98 and 2000 extensions. Is there a way to:

(1) Disable the 2002 extensions from being used, and
(2) Converting an existing web (many pages) into a 2000 compatible system?

Are you specifically having problems, because it should work fine. My host had 2000 extensions for nearly a year after I got 2002. The only problems I found was that some of the new features couldn't be used without the extensions.

The problem is that I want to use the 2002 extensions. One host supports it and the other doesn't. Simple things like shared link bars are great under 2002 but not otherwise supported. So what I would like to do is to be able to disable 2002 extensions when working with that particular host. It isn't a problem, per se, at least not with the functionality of the software, just the use of it.
