I have two Series E phones that show restricted when you call from within the PBX to their extensions. A call through CCIS (T1) from one of our other PBX's gets right through.

I had them try the DND cancel code that they use and it's not working on this problem. When they try to enter the code (#8 to cancel, *8 to set) the phones display "RESTRICTED".

Any clues where to look since it's not DND? Thank You

Thank you for the reply Fixin! However, I just got back from that building after I figured out what it was. Those two phones had call forward all activated somehow. All I did was enter the access code #6 and the display read cancel and they were good to go.

I still don't understand if it was just call forward all why calls placed from the same PBX received "restricted". While calls from other PBX's rang the phone when they called the same four digit extension. Oh well, the problem is solved... for now! Thanks again Fixin!!

If they were forwarded back through CCIS this would happen.

Make sure you check E600, E601, and E603 as well to make sure calls are routed correctly to these extensions.

That's the first thing I checked when I got back, thank you Doug. I think you helped me a while ago with the E6YY command which has saved me many a trips!!

I didn't know that forwarding back through CCIS could have that affect, thanks for that info Doug.
