2000ivs2 direct connect 1

We have a 2000ivs2 that we can not direct connect too, we have ruled out the cable, the pc,and the cp14.Could their be a problem in the programming,we connect remotely just fine.The error message comes up: Error Ox20053,unknown divice error on device,Direct://Ocala Springs Direct@converted folder.Thanks for any help.

Have you tried direct connecting to port 1 on the cpu by shutting off switch 4 when direct connecting, then turning it back on for modem connections?

Next I would look at command 4000>0>and be sure it says none. Also try manipulating the other 40 commands for port 0.

what are you using to connect with Matworx studio or Matworx IPS

After you have verified your baud rate in command 4008>
Try connecting with hyper terminal.
The commands are as follows
Turn on your Caps Lock
Also set up you properties as vt100

F2 . (period)

F3 : (Colon)

F4 Enter

F6 - (dash)

F8 Space bar

F9 / (forward Slash)
