Inbound calls on a standard analog trunk line are answered by an Autoattendant on an AD-64 that has digital phone integration (Dialogic cards) with a 2000IVS. Would Caller ID on the analog trunk be passed to a DTerm SeriesE phone when the AD-64 transfers the call to the extension that the caller selects from the Autoattendant menu? If it can be passed, should the Autoattendant not answer on the first ring, so the Caller ID can be captured?

We know that the 2000IVS itself needs the proper cards to process Caller ID, but the question is if it ever sees it.

It should pass it through, and yes you would need to extend the rings to answer on the VM to at least 2 so the FS signal gets detected.

Thanks very much. We just wanted to be sure before doing anything.
