We are having an issue. We setup our vpn server and now we are trying to connect another server to it using Routing and Remote access. We setup the connection it connects. We can then ping both the local / remote and internet networks. All use their correct gateways (Remote network uses VPN, Local uses none, and Internet uses local Internet Gateway)..

Our problem is we are trying to point our other computers on the network to the server. We set it as their gateway however they can not ping any systems on the remote network only local and internet ones. Any suggestions on what could be wrong? We have a static route set and can even ping the ip address thats assigned to the PPP connection from any computer on the net, but its not routing traffic for any of the other pcs on the net.. just its own requests.

thanks in advance!

Any direct link to a VPN gatweay tutorial for windows 2000 would be helpfull.. I've used this one from microsoft step by step and we can onlyl connect to the remote network from the remote server we are connecting with.. not the rest of the computers on the remote network.

What is your VPN Server? W2k SP1 might need hotfix, in this case you have to call MS.
