2000 Pro from Dell

I've got a Dell Product Recovery CD which ive used to install win 200 pro on my Dell, when i try to use it on my other machine, it comes up with and error message. "Only Licensed for Dell Machines" Is there any way to get round this??

i had the same problem with a gateway computer. i think microsoft began allowing computer manufacturers to customize minor aspects of the windows os to help fight piracy. but i suppose you could install on another dell machine.
