Caller ID displaying a specific internal DID extension when dialing out. The wrong information is showing up on caller ID but when test calls were made caller ID displays the correct information this happens randomly.

Help, where do I start… 2000 IPS?

Check commands 1212 and 1213 also make sure the prefix is correct in 5005. The only other option is the carrier is inserting the number.

I agree with Ozzie.

It looks like your calls go out an ISDN PRI route then possibly route advance to copper or a regular T1 when the PRI has calls on all channels.

I will check what information is entered on CMD 1212 & 1213. I thank you both for your help.

CTVI, sending out the name in the USA will not work in most locations yet. The SS7 messages sent with the call from one CO to another CO do not have a position to transport the name. So when the 2000 sends out the name most CO's completely ignore the name field over ISDN knowing that the name field can not be passed on. Found this out the hard way after a sales person sold this to a customer only find out that you can send the name but the phone company ignores it.

It depends if the local carrier does it's own database lookup or takes the pass along info from the end user. Yes - it can be a sore point for sales reps as it will not work in all circumstances. Thanx for the clarification.
