I am trying to dial from a PSIII after a trunk route select code is entered.

ie: CM200>80:100 dial 80 to access route 00

This works fine from Dterms and analog stations but not from the wireless. There doesn't seem to be a register to receive the digits. Local dialing as well as dialing through LCR over another route works normal.

I've looked at CM12,13,15,30,35,65. Can't seem to find an explanation. Any suggestions?

Ok I'm asuming IPS but I have to ask what kind of wireless? Perhaps I should stay out of this as PSIII doesn't mean a lot to me (perhaps not an Aussie released product), but I would like to help.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, IPS with R13 software. PSIII is the replacement for NEC PSII wireless PCS. Not sure if it was released in Austrailia. Programming for PSII/PSIII is identical just a newer phone. Does this help?

Was this an original IVS that got upgraded? In the older IVS switches you had to create a virtual trunk route for the wireless stations. The wireless route has to bne assigned in cmnd 36 to give access. In the newer IPS this is all handeled automatically, and does not require the cmnd 36 to work.

Thanks for the replys so far. Sorry for the delay in responding.

RE: Was this an original IVS that got upgraded?

This is a new install. The wireless works great except for this one issue of being able to dial after accessing a loop start trunk route with an access code, bypassing LCR. It seizes a trunk OK but will not accept digits after connecting (Dterm and analog stations dial fine after seizing a trunk). There is no answer supervision so it may be related to this or a register/sender issue. I have tried changing answer timers and sender timers with no noticable difference. The only register/senders currently in this system are the defaults in the CPU. This is only an issue when dialling from a wireless.

RE: What is trunk route 00? Page route? actual trunks?

This is a standard loop start trunk route. I am using an 8COTQ (Caller ID capable) trunk card. Is it possible that the wireless stations need the 4RSTF card to work properly with this trunk card even though I'm not concerned with sending caller ID digits?
