I know you can hook up an Adtran CSU but is their a way to hook up a Bogen moh unit. The Bogen uses a 12 volt supply, thanks.

Sorry but I'm struggling to understand your question. I assume that you want to hook up an external music on hold system but that it uses a 12v power supply? What impact are you concerned about? Please don't take this the wrong way as I would like to help, as I am sure many here would. I just don't understand the question!

The 27 volt screw terminals on the power supply of the 2000ips can be used on a external csu ( adtran ) works great, the bogen moh external unit uses a 12 volt power source, would you it work on the 27 volt source also.

I think I will let someone else answer this!!!!!

I would never connect an external unit to an IPS PSU! What is a CSU, adtran or other?

Never heard of a bogen Moh unit but it's supply voltage should have nothing to do with the pabx. Why would you want to connect it to the PABXs Psu? If you are in power fail, the sole job of the batteries is to keep the system running! If MOH is that critical then put it on a UPS!

I must agree with OzzieGeorge, you don't want to use that power source for a MOH device. Not that it will pull that much juice, but if it is that important, plug it into a UPS as he stated.
