This is the scenario:
You call extansion 5000.
Extension 5001 has 5000 as a virutal line-appearance, and answers the call from there. Now 5001 talks to the original caller.
5000 decides to get into the conversation, so he picks up the handset, and pushes his "my-line", and a 3-party conference is established between 5000 on "my-line", 5001 on his virtual 5000 line-button, and the original caller.
Now 5000 decides to get out of the call and hangs up. Conference cancelled, 5001 is still talking to the original caller.
At this point, if 5000 wants to get back into the conference again, he can't. He picks up the handset and pushes the "my-line" button, but gets new dial-tone, instead of getting into a 3-party conference.
And to make it even stranger, now, if 5000 hangs up after the failed conference-attempt, his "my-line" button LED goes out, like nobody was on his line. But 5001 is still using that line to converse with the original caller. Also, on 5001, the LED on the button that correspond to the virtual 5000 goes out, even though it shouldn't as he is still on that line, talking to the original caller.
How weird. I tried it on an IVS2 and an IPS with IP phones and the same thing happens as described above. The software I have on the IPS is 3200 series, R6.2 Anybody has a solution to this?
