I am lost...I can't find any directions on an analoge cordless.
NEC 2000 IPS. Operator = Ext.200. DTR-16D-1 just added an AP(R)
with Power. Tried APr in BOTH Slots.
Operator also is a CSR rep, 5 lines Ring her and all CSR Reps.
She has X200 and X300 (virtual)
I get dial tone on Cordless, dTerm screen reads 200 when offhook.
dTerm rings normal, Cordless won't ring or come alive. IF I come
offhook when dTerm rings...the Cordless DOES get the call.
She wants to walk around (mail, copy etc.) and take the Cordless with her. What programming is needed for the cordless?
Can it be it's own Ext #?
What "codes" do single lines use for features?
Can she get the CSR lines and her X200 too all ring?
(I guess she wouldn't know which is which?)
Sadly I will admit I didn't check the Ringer on the Cordless with a CO....system has a T1...I can. will., should have.
I did swap out the AC adapter with a known good one.
I read about Settings on the APr:
1-1
1-2
3-1
3-2
I ONLY saw one slide switch in the side, labled "1-2 1-2"
Space for two switches but only one under the first 1-2. ??
changing that one switch didn't seem to matter.
There is a set of 8 dip switches. one aned 5 were ON.
I didn't mess with them.
Where is 3-1?
I think 1-2 is the only one I need......"Share B channel"
What does that do? either way?
COMMANDS:
1205 - 0
1308 - ?
9001 - 1
9003 - 1
1332 forget, I have in my notes "correct"
ANY Suggestions?
More importantly, will / Should a cordless work in the manner they want? Mobile Operator?
I use an older Elite 192 manual, seems about 99% applicable.
