I just created a new intercom group (A031 & A131). I assigned the intercom group to a button on my phone using the 9000 command. I press speaker then the intercom button and get a busy signal. The previous admin created other intercom groups in the system and they work fine. I created the this using CM11, CM1203, CM5610 & 9000 commands. I am not sure what I am missing to get this to work.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Typically command 5610 is done incorrectly. The first data is the automatic intercom number the second data is the primary extension. The same intercom number must be on a button of that same extension.
5610>A031>XXXX (my line)
5610>A131>YYYY (companion my line)
A000-A031, A100-A131:Automatic Intercom No. assigned by CM11 X-XXXXXXXX: My Line No

Thanks for the information. I never assigned the intercom button on the companion line. Once I did that everything works.
