I recently got Office XP and all of the clipart is gathered off of the Microsoft server. With my slow internet connection, this is a slow process.

On the other hand, I have Office 2000 with a second cd full of clip art.

How do I get XP to use my Office 2000 clipart vs the default internet clipart

Thanks in advance

Would Insert, Picture, From File and navigate to the CD work? The path would be x:\PFILES\MSOFFICE\CLIPART, where x is the CD drive on the computer. There's a number of subfolders with clipart in them.

One more thing, go to Tools, Options, File Location tab, and you can should be able to make a change for Clipart to point to the CD path x:\PFILES\MSOFFICE\CLIPART. Word might holler a little when it opens if the CD isn't in the drive.

You could always copy the CLIPART folder to the hard drive and change the path in File Location. It's only 268MB.
