2000 Advanced Server behind Linux Firewall

I have a linux firewall @ work with a Windows 2000 Advanced Server behind it...I would like to get a VPN connection as I know the guy who was there before me was doing this...To be quite honest...I dont really know where to start.

Any comments would appreciated.
