Just a quick question. We are currently running a 2000 SBS server and want to add a 2003 server. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to keep the 2000SBS as the domain controller and have the 2003 connected to that domain. In the future we will transfer to the 2003 server but that will be in 6 months time etc.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Yes, you can add additioanl servers to an SBS implementation. You can even make those servers a DC if you wanted to.

When you are ready to move away from SBS, you might want to look at the upgrade pack which frees the server from the confines on SBS while allowing you to keep it as your Exchange server. It give you more flexibility and the ability to upgrade the OS etc.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Regards,

Mark
