Installing a new 200 ICP 4.0, One group of sets has 4 lines and another has 3 lines. There is 1 receptionist in each group. All sets are 5212 IP sets. Both recepts want a mailbox, and the ability to hit a night key or anyway to get there group of lines to be answered by a night message. Bothare going to have there own night message. Is it easier to set up a phantom extension and when they leave have them forward there sets to that phantom and build a MB on it? Or is there a better way! Thanks!

You cannot use forwarding as the Mitel retains the Original Dialed Digits for integration with voicemail.

E.g. Set 'A' forwarded to Set 'B' then VM will answer with Set A's VM

You'll need to use tenanting to allow each group to control their own night service. The night service termination point can then be a phantom that integrates with VM

Well, I called MITEL, and they say that there is a bug in the 200 ICP, and only tenant 1 can control the night services!! Thats great!! My trouble is that the 2 businesses have different hours. I split all my VM ports into 2 hunt groups, and recorded primary greeting and alt. greeting and had primary greeting answered by ports configured for that hunt group and it works.....until the NIght service trouble...any work arounds you can think of?

If there is a bug in rel 4 regarding tenanting night service, this is the first that I've heard.

Without that capability to route the trunks differently I'm at a loss as to what to suggest.

Don't suppose you could just go AA all the way 24/7?
