20 series phones with v3??

Do the 20 series phones plain not work or do they lack the new features of this version? And has anyone got 20 series DSS consoles on v3 also? I would love to upgrade but obviously not at the expense of our reception phones and other 20 series breaking!!

Im using DT3's on a SOE with V3.0
they work fine, but obvously Avaya will no longer support fault reports on these handsets

Before upgrading ANY IPO I would ask the question "What benefit will I gain?"
if your customer does not require any V3.0 features stick with the old adage of "If it aint broke DONT FIX IT!"

I am looking at going to PhoneManagerPro 3 and Voicemail Pro 3 which seem to be fairly independant of the IPO firmware (already testing PhoneManager 3 and I like the feature to have a personal distribution list for dropping voicemails to multiple people).

I wonder if my problem with 4port analog trunk card will be fixed?

Sadly Millsey, key features of Phone Manager 3.0 and Voicemail Pro 3.0 (the personal distributions lists) are wholly dependant on core IP Office 3.0 to pass information around (the lists are kept somewhere on the Voicemail Pro server and passed to the users Phone Manager when they want to edit them visually).

... and I'm sure a lot of other features require the core and the application levels to be of the same generation.

& personal distribution lists are Intuinty mode only.

I suspect if you are using 2030 handsets you are using IPoffice mode on VMP, although you can still use intuity mode with 20XX handsets I personaly do not find it a friendly.
