2 X 8600 IST broadcat storm

Hello guys the 2 passports mentioned have died on version 5.0.0 with a broadcast storm seemingly without reason , anyone seen this on the above version ??

There are a few known FDB/ARP issues with 5.0.0.1 but nothing that would take down the entire switch cluster (both ERS8600s). Software release 5.0.1.0 is due to be released in the next month which will add all the fixes incorporated into 4.1.8.2 along with the existing support for the RS modules.

Since you mention a broadcast storm you seem to have an idea of what happened. I'm guessing you backed off your upgrade and the problem disappeared?

Yes the customer ,mentioned broadcast storm then rebooted the 8600 but got a show tech off first, Both 8600,s come back but not sure what caused it?
