I am trying to see 2 computers on 2 different subnets. One subnet is 192.168.2.95 and the other is 192.168.4.34.
Is this possible? I can see them on my server, though.
How can I share files on both of them?
I can't even ping each other
Thank you

You can probably see them both on your server because you have multiple NICs in your server, connected to both networks.

As a workaround, if you make the subnet on all machines 255.255.0.0, they will all be on the same subnet, and will be able to share files.

chrisosullivan1,

Serbtastic is correct, if you have a multihomed server.

On the other hand, if your two subnets are connected by a router, you could configure the machines on each subnet to use the router's IP on that subnet as the default gateway, which would allow your machines to talk to each other.

This would work for a multihomed server providing routing to your network as well.
