2-sided printing grayed out for hp8500

We have an hp8500 that we used to do 2-sided printing on that we recently began serving from another print server. The 2-sided printing option is now grayed out when someone tries to print. Permissions are correct.

Any ideas? I can't imagine its the wrong driver since under the properties of the printer is shows under features that > double-sided: yes

Under the administrative user on the new owner (server), update the printer configuration details to include the duplex capability.
