We are installing a Witness call recording server. We have Symposium and a current CTI server on site. If we bring Witness up it takes down the MSLM_Service on Symposium. (Happens every time)

We were advised by installer that we need a 2nd CTI link to be installed on symposium. Our teleco does not know how to do so.

I need to know if this can be done. (Conflicting reports)
How hard is this to implement?
Does anyone out there have multiple, and different CTI working with Symposium?

Thanks in advance

Verify that the versions of Witness and SCCS are compatible. Witness should provide compatibility information and integration documentation to your vendor.
I have seen version incompatibility issues cause this problem in the past.
Since Nortel is now distributing Witness products, you may have leverage through Nortel to get your vendor to resolve this issue.

Found it.

Installer (Sub Contractor) Misconfigured protocol being used by CT connect to talk to symposium.

3 days of fun
10 second fix
Got to love new installs

Thanks for thoughts on compatabilty

Yeah I wish Nortel would have annouced the Witness stuff about 6 motnhs before they did. Would have liked to stay with 1 vendor if you know what I mean.
