Question 1
Is it possible to block all outbound call to the public but not internal calls to other users.


So8 Module

I need to program the Short code so that i can have remote access to my network using a ddi Number

if you want to block all external calls just edit the short code

or under users telephony check "Outgoing call bar"

under incoming call route enter your DDI in the incoming number, Destination could be the same as your DDI number and check bearer capability "Any"
under short codes enter the DDI for short code and Telephone number Under line select e.g 701 (this could be the first port of your SO8 module). this will route all data calls to your TE plugged in to this port

for remote access
1 Set up a user on the IPO with a pasword
2 Tick dialin

on the remote computer set up dialup networking to the main number of the IPO (or any other DDI)
use the user name & password of the new user.

if the IPO is not acting as a DHCP server you will have to specify a fixed IP address for this connection

you will now be able to speak to any pc using the IPO as a gateway.

I got the so8 module to dials an internet connection so it works great.
