2 ports with same Ext?

I am in the process of learning the NEC Elite IPK system and I noticed on my demo system that it let me program the same extension number on 2 different ports! (not a good thing)
I was suprised I did got get any "programming error". Is this normal for this system?

It will let you do that thru the phones only, but if you use the sat software it will not let you. This is not a good thing to do it will cause problems.
