This has probably come up before but I can't find it.
We need two phones with the same extension. It's on an option 11. The 2 phones are 2616's. I have the phones programmed the same on two different tn's, but the second phone gets time and date but no dial tone.

Sounds like you have it punched to the wrong TN if you have it programmed, that or you need to enable the TN. The fact that it shares a DN has nothing to do with the time and date.

You'll probably need to check your TN Pair Polarity i.e. reverse it on the frame and programme them both as:-
MCR (Multiple Call Ringing)

also check in LD 32 STAT 'TN' / ENLU 'TN' / IDU 'TN' (ID Unit)

LD 11/20
CHG
TYPE 2616
TN X X
ECHG
KEY 0 NUL (The one working)

Same again but give it KEY 0 MCR xxxx
Same again when you get the other working

Cheers!!

check the programmed phone type is correct & program key 0 mcr as already said

Remember if it doesn't work hit it harder

time and date might be that your plugged in to the wronge tn.. a non programed or disu tn gives time and date.. the switch does up to 31 tn's with the same mcr
