2 packages for the same report

Hello guys, please help!

1.Is it possible to build one report out of the 2 different packages?

2. or build a report out of a cube and a package?

3. why would you build a cube and post for to cognos connect instead of building a package in a FM, can the cube work better?

2. Yes, when cube published from same framework and thus in same package
3. Depends on what you need. Do you need multidimensional analysis or lovely formatted management reports.
Different user-population will need different reporting/analysis tools..
