Hi there,

we have an Avaya Definity G3siV4.

One of our clients would like us to call a customer, then, if the customer wishes, we call the client and transfer the call to the client.

Is this possible? We've never transferred an outgoing call to another outgoing call before.
We regulalry transfer incoming calls to an out going call.

Would a conference sort this? If so, how do we use this feature?

Thanks

Chris

I think you have to do this through a conference feature, but it's been a long time so not positive if you drop off when that kill the call, testing will tell

Also remember that if you can get it to work. And both calls are from external sorces you will be tieing up two trunk lines on your system. Might be an issue depending on your capacity.

Also remember that doing this also opens up "trunk to Trunk" transfer which also opens up toll fraud. Setting that in the "ch sys fea" to "restricted" will help. Then you have to assign the extensions with the right COS that will allow Trunk to trunk override. But you can change your COS (in that system) to allow these.

When is the last time you helped someone, just because you were able to?
