Ok, I would like to have (if possible) Windows 95 on one hard disk and Windows 2000 on another, both working on the same PC.
I'm currently running Windows 2000 on a 41GB hard disk and have just installed a second 4GB hard disk and want to install Windows 95 on it.
1st question....... Is this possible?

If it is, how do I do it?
The Windows 95 CD is not bootable, and for some reason my Windows 95 boot disk, is not booting.
2nd question...... Anybody know where I can get a Windows 95 boot disk that installs the CD drivers.

So the next thing I tried was to boot up using a Dos 6 disk, F3 out of the setup to give me a DOS prompt, but then I am unable to connect to the CD.
3rd question...... Do I have to install Dos onto the smaller hard disk first, and then run the setup from the CD?

I hope all this makes sense.

Yes!

I placed bot Win2000 and Win98 on my computer in sequence of:
at first Win98 then Win2000. I think what it is possible to place Win98(95) after Win2000.
Sometimes, there is boot catalog on Win95 CD, from which it is possible to make a bootable diskette (by 'sys.com').

DOS 6.x are do not able to read FAT32 partition, so you should reformat your new hard(drive) with FAT16.

Yes, you can to do this first! It is good version. Happy programming!))

Yes. Several operating systems can be easily installed on a PC. I would suggest installing each operating system on a separate hard disk. Otherwise you can partition the hard disk and install each operating system in a separate partition.

Usually Win9x (Pure FAT16/FAT32 OS’s) must be installed first, followed by Win NT/2000 (NTFS OS’s ). But in your case it is different as you have already installed Win 2000. In minute you’ll know how to overcome this issue.

The 4 GB HDD must be made the Master Hard Disk and the 41 GB disk the Slave Hard Disk. Your PC must boot from the Master/Win95 Hard Disk. Install Win 95 on this disk. After installing Win 95 you may feel that you have lost your Win 2000 installation.

The following MS knowledge base link will help you to retrieve your Win 2000 installation. Make sure you have an up to date copy of your Windows 2000 Emergency Repair Disk.

You can create a variety of boot disks from Once you’ve created your bootdisk, you’ll be able to access you CD-ROM, from MSDOS, and install win95.

Also please take backups of all your important data before you start.
