Ive had a problem installing 2 NICs in a single pc.My problem was that when I installed a second NIC,the original NIC stopped working.Removed the new NIC,and the original NIC worked again.Device Manager said that both were working, and there were no conflicts.DFE-530TX+,DFE-530TX.Any advice appreciated.

How did you configure them? How did you test them? What makes you think that the first stopped working?

Chris.

Both are configured TCP\IP,Auto.I found that I could not connect to internet with my original card after installing the new one.Which told me that the originating card was not functioning.I will be reinstalling the drivers today.

Well...seems the problem has been rectified. It wasnt the drivers.I went into winipcfg and was able to ping all the NICs,etc.Windows did have me choose what Net adapter would be used for the network connection I was making(DSL).Ive never seen this before.I always had trouble putting in NICs,now theres two.Later.

I assume that you are using Windows-OS on you machine.
Which OS exactly?
Can you check your TCP/IP settings for both NICs (ipconfig/all |more)? Through the "Auto" settings there could be a Default Gateway defined on both NICs.
And this will definitely not work on a Windows box.
If this is the case, you need to replace the Default-Gateway settings of the NIC, that is not connected to the Internet through a manual route.
