2 networks come up

I'm new to wireless. But I have a new XP laptop that I hoked up to an exsisting wireless router. the old w98 laptop already using it works fine no issues..
The XP will connects sometime. but sometimes It sees 2 wireless networks and a message comes on that "Prosett has temporaraly disabled profile management feature" once this happens I cannot get on.
How do I set it to only look at my network and not the neighbors?
