I have Tablet PC, it has both a wireless adapter and 100 Base-T, RJ-45. If I login to the Tablet PC itself and disconnect the RJ-45 I can get on the internet through the wireless Linksys router. If I log onto the domain which has no internet I can do domain stuff but can’t get on the internet. Is there a way to do both. In other words tell Internet Explorer to use wireless connection? It comes up with page cannot be found. the Server has the DNS server as itself which I think is confusing the issue. PS I'm learning Server 2003 which is why this is set up this way.

any ideas welcome.

As far as I understand things, if you want to connect to the internet, you'd need to make sure that either:

1. Your tablet PC's gateway is set to the IP of the router, or
2. Your tablet PC's gateway is set to the IP of the server, and the server is sharing / routing / whatever-its-called the internet connection. You'd also need to tell your tablet PC to get the DNS entries from the server.

I'd go with option 1 - far easier!
