2 MOH sources

Is it possible to have different MOH sources for 2 different departments on a BCM50?

I need 9 sets to have 1 MOH source and 3 to have another.

I don't see any straight forward way to do it, so I could figure out a work around - maybe using contact center?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated - any solution is better than none!

Not possible. There is only one MOH source allowed.
Anytime your on hold, or waiting for an agent in queue, you recieve MOH from the one available source.

You could use Greetings in a Call Center queue to emulate MOH as a workaround.

I think skutch makes a device.

How would it interface w/ the BCM? There's nowhere in BCM programming to say use MOH 1 for these lines and use MOH 2 for others.

It looks like the Skutch product may be the solution. I have sent an email to verify it will work with the BCM50.

Looks like as long as your using POTS lines it'll do the trick! Good info!!!

A single AS-801 Music On Hold unit provides coverage on up to 6 telephone lines. If you have more than 6 lines, multiple AS-801 Music On Hold units can be connected together to provide the additional coverage. All CO telephone lines that go into the KSU, that can be placed ON HOLD, MUST will be covered by the AS-801 Music On Hold unit; i.e. if you have 10 lines coming into a KSU, you MUST use two AS-801 Music On Hold units to cover the 10 lines. Since FAX and MODEM lines are never placed ON HOLD, they do not have to be covered. The AS-801 Music On Hold unit installs easily, in series, between the KSU and the CO telephone lines. You can select which audio source is connected to which lines, by internal computer type jumpers. The AS-801 Music On Hold unit provides a female RCA type connector for each of the 3 audio source inputs. The unit also provides a master volume control for each audio source.
