If I understand what you want to do, then no. Both are going to be talking to the network at the same time. Your DSL connection will want 1 mac address.

It *might* be possible to go into the setup of the wireless modem and disable the "modem" part, so that it simply functions as a wireless router. Why do you want to hook two modems up?
I try not to let my ignorance prevent me from offering a strong opinion.
i have a location in my family room that suits another laptop (non-wireless older W2k) with a phone jack handy (my DSL line) and do not want to run more wires.
the wireless is hooked up in my home office running 3 other machines and a wireless laptop used upstairs.
since i had the older DSL modem (and Verizon said it could be used in tandem/conjunction with my new wireless modem) i thought it would be nice to have another connection for the kids to use.
Why not put a wireless card on the other pc/pc's? The wireless from verizon is a modem/wireless router in one. It will support the other pc's through wireless. Either PCI, or USB external will work.
