Hello,

Right, here is the scenario:

PBX-a BC9
PBX-b BC11

We have an external caller dialling extension 1234 on PBX-A, 1234 on PBX-a (now refered to as a1234) is diverted to a voicemail system on PBX-b. The voicemail is run using analogue ports and rs232 link to ICU. PBX-a and PBX-b are linked using Q-sig.

PBX-a and PBX-b have the same number range so both have extension 1234 in their NUMTYP=EX.

How do I get a1234 to be different to b1234 on the presentation to the voicemail?

By using location code based numbering plan .
Node numbers . EN .
Node A is 81 , node B is 82 .

Node A has en=81 (NANSI)
and 82 AS ed DEST .

Node B has en=82 (NANSI)
and 81 as ed DEST .

adc on dest has 0505... on both .

node a has rondi:exnopr=5-81

node b has rondi:exnopr=5-82

maiboxes for node a has extension numbers =811234
maiboxes for node b has extension numbers =1234

Something like that ...

This should work fine. We use it in a network of 5 x MD110 systems, linked with Q-sig and DPNSS, Release BC09 and 10, 1 MD110 with 2 voicemailsystems. 1 VM for own extensions, the other for the remote systems. No problems, even works with Personal Assistant etc.
