Is there a way to get an SNMP trap to go to 2 management systems. We have a vendor who is going to support the system, they have set up a Public IP address through a VPN to monitor our equipment through the internet. As the first level of support we would like possibly HP Openview to monitor the system as well which resides on our network.

Does anyboby know a solution that might be able to do this. The equipment that sends the SNMP trap can only send it to one IP address.

You should be able to set Openview to forward traps to the vendor.
