Hi,

I'm running a w2k advanced server and I installed 2 NICs, one with public IP and one with private IP. Opened the public IP on the firewall and can ping it. I tried running a personal server, however, I cannot see it using a browser. As I said, I can ping it though. I can't run cluster server because I'm using IDE not SCSI. I'm trying to experiment it at work so I need to have both type of IPs, the private to browse our network and the public is for me to access that computer remotely. We have a Compaq server and they have a utility called network teaming, but it only works with Compaq. I'm trying to experiment using an ordinary pc. I pretty much tried everything but to no avail. Can someone help me please?
Thanx.

you shouldn't require 2 addresses. Simply configure your firewall to NAT a public firewall address to the internal address and open the ports required by your remote control software or Terminal services:
