Hi, I'm the new one here. To make it short:
I have to maintain an ISP-Server. It is a RedHat Linux with Plesk-Mnagement software. Obviously Plesk installed and configured the whole WebServices. Nearly all is different as described in my book: "running qmail (Richard Blum)"
I do that for 2 weeks now.
One customer complains, that a message entered at 12:33 50KB was received by all (17) recipients at 14:58. So i am looking for the delay. My messagelogs have names like: mail.err, mail.info, mail.warn. Not like in my book.
I found that mail.info is the best source for investigations.
But i cannot find a notice when the message was entered (by an smtp-session thru a remote client) into the system.
The first entry is at 14:57 " qmail .... new msg", then I can see all (17) delivery-messages.
So please where do i see when and how the message was entered into qmail queues?
As I believe my customer i ask: what was going on that his message was "seen" more than 2 hours after he entered it.
Thanks in advance - and sorry for ma bad knowledge (language & qmail)
Regards
Bogdan
