I have 2 framework files and I need to have all elments in one framework file rather than 2.

Is there a way to merge or link or import the smaller framework into the large framework file?

I really dont want to have to do this manually. I know this can be done in BO Universes but I wasnt sure if this was a feature in Cognos.

Yes, in 2 ways:

1. Use the master framework, use the metadata wizard and use the 2nd model as a source and import the defintions into the master. So, instead of using a datasource connection, you point the wizard to an existing model (which is represented by the .cpf file)

2. Read up on segments. You can use 1 model as a segment in another. This way you will keep two separate models, but you can create packages that involve objects from both models
