Hiya,
I've got an odd request from a customer.
He's got xtn 100 analogue and 200 a SIP. I can put them both into a personal ring grp 200 and I can setup a multicall key on 200 for xtn 100. In this way, when someone rings either 100 or 200, both of them will ring at the same time.
In telephone directory, I only got 100 but the problem we have is when the user rings someone from 200 as this number comes up on their screen. There is any way to force both extensions to present ONLY 100 ?! I couldn't think of any way doing this. The controller is on v 4.0

Personal ring group should do this for you. You could also try a suite but I would double check the PRG first

Cheers, mate.
PRG does the job as already mentioned on my previous post so incoming is fine.
The only downside is when 200 (SIP) rings someone as this DN is presented. They have 100 (analog) in telephone directory and want to keep it this way so I need to present 100 when they ring from 200. I've never done suite but reading through the programing notes, this might be a solution.

Use suite instead of PRG. You will need to re-number 100 as this will be required for suite pilot. I need to look into the PRG thing as I was sure it showed on outgoing too. Other option is to just make 200 Tel Dir entry private so it only shows name and not name + number

Suite is the way to go.

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.

I did try to adda suite today and didn't work. I'm wondering what I've missed ?!
I've got xtn 100 analogue and 200 SIP so I couldn't add 100 as a suite because the DN is used already. I had to create a dummy number 101 for the analogue and then I was able to add suite 100 with 101 & 200 as members. Hoewever, when 200 rang me back, on the screen I had 200 and NOT 100 ?!
