Guys

I have 2 exchange servers 1 set as the Master 1 as the Slave in 2 different locations. All works fine but i have a silly question

I know that there is 1 public folder for these servers and that the data replicates between all is fine here.

What i want though is Outlook and Avaya to go to the local public folder i.e the server at the Site (maybe this already happens) but is there a way to check?

Any help would be great

Thanks

Si

Not sure what you mean by "master" and "slave".

Users are directed to the PF store on the server where their mailbox resides.

Plan for performance, and capacity takes care of itself. Plan for capacity, and suffer poor performance.

So if you know there is only 1 PF that replicates, why do you want to have the users go to their local one?

Move the users to the local server. Job's a good un.

If you want to change the default public folder store you can set it by looking in the properties of the mailstore
